With Patch 1.6 recently going live, Cyberpunk 2077 is looking healthier than ever. Whilst we can expect a basic roadmap with a number of patches and fixes to improve the experience further and add in new gigs, weapons, outfits, and storylines, there isn't a definitive timeline for when these things will arrive.

There is one thing however that CD Projekt Red has planted for everyone to look forward to, that being Cyberpunk's first (and seemingly only) major expansion - Phantom Liberty.

Whilst a specific date wasn't given in the latest Night City Wire where the teaser debuted, CD Projekt Red felt confident to announce that Phantom Liberty is launching its way into your life at some point in 2023.

Phantom Liberty Content

Not much is known as to the exact plot details of Phantom Liberty, but the reveal trailer had V taking what is essentially the presidential oath, with Johnny Silverhand warning you that doing so is a bad idea. This means that, yes, Keanu Reeves is reprising his role for the expansion, though the scope of his involvement is yet to be revealed.

Being labeled as a "major expansion" indicates that the amount of content that will drop with Phantom Liberty will be sizeable, potentially larger than any other patch since launch, so there will be plenty of goodies for you to dive into once it arrives.

Other than that, as stated above, all we know that Phantom Liberty is coming in 2023. Till then, enjoy what Night City already has to offer!
